Rainbow Dash groaned in her sleep. Her hoof hurt like CRAZY! The pain of the Chaos Emerald that now rested inside of her hoof, made her bleed every so often. She shot awake. The others sleeping peacefully next to her. If she moved, the others would wake. They slept in the hollow in the base of a tree. The entrance surrounded by prickly bushes, so it would protect them from harm.
She raised her wounded leg up in the air and sighed.
"Why do the Emeralds do this to us?" She thought to herself.
"If only Twilight or Shadow were here... they would know.........I know it!"
